ARWU ranking

Also known as the Shanghai ranking, the Academic Ranking of World Universities is considered one of the three most influential international university rankings. Currently, more than 1000 universities are ranked by ARWU every year, and the best 500 are published on the web. The methodology used by the Shanghai Rankings is entirely academic and research oriented and based on objective indicators. UM is ranked 201/300 worldwide.

Times Higher Education (THE)

Times Higher Education World University Rankings ranks the world’s top colleges, universities & institutions. It judges world-class universities across all of their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. The top universities rankings employ 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available, which are trusted by students, academics, university leaders, industry and governments. UM is ranked 250/275 worldwide.

National Taiwan University ranking

The NTU Ranking provides overall ranking, ranking by 6 fields, and 14 selected subjects. According to this ranking, UM is placed 294th worldwide.
