In 2016, Lions and Etablissement Français du Sang professionals welcomed more than 6,100 students to blood drives organized by Sang pour Sang Campus at university sites.
Created in Bordeaux in 2008 on the initiative of members of Lions International and the Etablissement Français du Sang Aquitaine-Limousin, all these events have the same objectives:

  • raise student awareness of blood donation;
  • detect new young donors;
  • build loyalty ;
  • collect a large number of blood bags.

This year, 24 Sang pour Sang Campus blood drives will be held in 20 student towns across France.
Lions members are aiming to welcome over 700 students to the Triolet campus site; the EFS is mobilizing medical staff and the Lions Club, made up of numerous volunteers, is ensuring logistics.
A gourmet snack featuring local produce, crêpes, seasonal soups, sweets and drinks will be offered to each donor. All in a festive, friendly atmosphere, with plenty of surprises in store.
