Call for Proposals: “Master’s Scholarships”
The Biology-Health Research Cluster is launching a call for proposals for “Master’s Scholarships” aimed at research teams wishing to host a Master’s 2 student for internships beginning in January 2027. Applications do not require a student to have already been identified.
Several scholarships are available
- Master’s scholarships for interdisciplinary projects involving a team from one of the seven research areas of the Biology-Health Cluster and a team from another research cluster at the University of Montpellier (AEB, Chemistry, MIPS, Social Sciences)
- Master’s scholarships for translational projects involving a clinical team and a team from another research cluster at the University of Montpellier (AEB, Biology-Health, Chemistry, MIPS, Social Sciences)
- Master’s scholarships for projects related to the COSMIC Long-Term Thematic Project (PTL) – Complex Organoid Systems with Multifaceted Interactions – and involving a team from the Biology-Health Research Cluster.
20 scholarships available
for a total amount of €90,000. Each grant is worth €4,500
Target audience
For interdisciplinary projects, any research team from the AEB, Chemistry, MIPS, and Social Sciences clusters that wishes to develop an interdisciplinary and collaborative project with a team from the Biology-Health Cluster on one of the themes covered by the Cluster’s seven research areas.
- For translational projects, any research team from one of the Research Clusters that wishes to develop a project
in collaboration with a clinical team. The hospital-based principal investigator must be affiliated with a research unit at
the University of Montpellier. - for the PTL COSMIC fellowships, a team affiliated with the Biology-Health Cluster
Amount of funding
Each scholarship provides €4,500 in funding, broken down as follows: approximately €4,000 is allocated as a stipend for the student for a six-month internship, and €500 is allocated to cover operational costs related to expenses incurred on behalf of the student during the internship.
