Open Campus: An Inspiring Look into Higher Education
On Saturday, February 8, despite the unpredictable weather, the University of Montpellier welcomed a large crowd to its various campuses for its Open House. This key event coincided with the opening of registration on ParcourSup, giving prospective students the opportunity to explore the academic programs offered by the University of Montpellier.
The University’s 17 faculties, schools, and institutes, along with dedicated administrative departments and student volunteers eager to share their experiences, came together to showcase the diversity of academic pathways (BUT, professional bachelor’s degrees, and many others). The program included campus tours, meetings with faculty members, and themed lectures throughout the day. A special opportunity to learn, explore options, and plan for one’s academic future, but also to discover the various support services and resources available to our students during their academic journey (Crous, DVC, MDE, BU, SCUIO-IP, CFA, SFC…) as well as the various flagship projects in which UM is involved (Charm-Eu, IDIL…).
On the Triolet campus, Polytech, the IAE, the Faculty of Sciences, and the ENSCM opened their doors
The Faculty of Economics, ESEQ, Montpellier Management, and IPAG welcomed visitors to the Richter campus
The School of Dentistry, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Education, the Montpellier-Sète University Institute of Technology (IUT), the Nîmes University Institute of Technology (IUT), the Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT), the School of Sports Science, the School of Law and Political Science, and the School of Medicine also participated to provide information and offer tours of their respective facilities
A strong presence of flagship projects and services dedicated to students (DVC, the University Libraries, CFA, Charm-Eu, IDIL, SCUIO-IP, the Continuing Education Office, the Student Union, etc.)
