As part of the 2022 campaign to award the title of "Doctor Honoris Causa", the University of Montpellier will honour four high-level personalities.

Applications, accompanied by a reasoned opinion and, where appropriate, a ranking, must be sent by 19 May 2022 at the latest to the International Relations Department by email.

The University of Montpellier (UM) and the National Council for Scientific Research of the Lebanese Republic (CNRS-L) wish to strengthen their partnership on themes of common interest. To this end, they have decided to finance two co-directed PhD research contracts for the year 2022-2023, in the framework of an international co-direction of a thesis between the UM and a Lebanese higher education or research institution. This funding is exclusively intended for students of Lebanese nationality, holding a Master's degree (or equivalent) recognised as such by both institutions.

This joint call for applications aims to identify collaborative projects between research teams or teacher-researchers from the University of Montpellier and Lebanese research units recognised by the CNRS-L.

The priority themes for the year 2022-2023 are the following:

  • Cultural heritage
  • Social Sciences
  • Water management
  • Economics of conflict zones
  • Sociology and political science
  • Environment and natural resources
  • Epidemiology
  • Pest and alien species
  • Medical sciences
  • Education
  • Human Movement Sciences

The University of Montpellier (UM) and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) wish to strengthen their partnership on topics of common interest.

To this end, the UM and ANAS have decided to collaborate on a maximum of two co-supervised theses for the year 2022-2023, exclusively for students of Azerbaijani nationality holding at least a Master's degree (or equivalent) recognised as such by both institutions.

This call for applications aims to support collaborative projects between research teams of the University of Montpellier and research units of ANAS.
