Institute of Functional Genomics (IGF)

The Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle (IGF) is a multidisciplinary research center.

The IGF's main activity is devoted to fundamental research using functional genomics to explore normal and pathological cell signaling and communication processes in various fields, particularly neurobiology, cardiology, endocrinology and oncology.

Main activities range from structural pharmacology to systems biology, from the development of preclinical models of disease to translational research, to study a variety of pathologies, including neurological and psychiatric diseases, cardiac dysfunction, diabetes and cancer.

One of the main objectives of the IGF is to identify new concepts in molecular medicine and evaluate new strategies for the development of diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
