Autism: Understanding to Foster Inclusion

By Clémentine Gallois, clinical psychologist at the Languedoc-Roussillon Autism Resource Center (Montpellier University Hospital) and contributor to the Aspie Friendly initiative.
What is autism? Difficulties with social interaction or communication, hypersensitivity to sensory stimuli, and specific interests in certain activities or topics: autism spectrum disorder leads to a different way of perceiving the world.
What is it like to navigate university life as a person with autism? What accommodations can address the specific needs of a student with autism during their university education?
Clémentine Gallois, a clinical psychologist at the Languedoc-Roussillon Autism Resource Center under the supervision of Professor Baghdadli, and a partner in the Aspie Friendly initiative in collaboration with Dr. David, will discuss autism spectrum disorder during this conference, which is open to the general public.
The conference will be followed by a coffee break.
The conference is accessible to people with disabilities and features simultaneous French Sign Language (LSF) interpretation.
