Opening of the event by Séverine Boulon,
Vice President of Social Responsibility and Campus Life at the University of Montpellier

Because racism and anti-Semitism are not distant phenomena but realities that can permeate spaces of study, work, and daily life, the University is offering an awareness session.
The program includes key figures, analysis of stereotypes, legal definitions, consequences of this violence, and concrete tools for acting and reacting as a witness or victim. The goal is simple: to enable participants to better identify problematic situations, understand how prejudices arise, how they are embedded in history and law, and how they continue to fuel sometimes subtle forms of discrimination today.
Together, let's make the University a place where mutual respect and shared vigilance enable us to effectively combat racism and anti-Semitism.
