Challenge-Based Learning: From Theory to Practice

The Charm-EU alliance of European universities is launching a series of monthly webinars titled CHARM-ON to explore and share its innovative practices with all academic and administrative staff at its member universities.

This new monthly event (in English) provides an opportunity to bring together members of the academic community for a roundtable discussion, allowing them to offer practical insights into practices aligned with Charm-EU’s educational principles: challenge-based learning, mobility, interculturality, and more. The goal is to encourage participating staff to further explore Charm-EU’s best practices and to take part in the training sessions offered throughout the year by the alliance of European universities.

On September 29, this first webinar will focus on challenge-based learning (CBL). The aim is to explore practical experiences with CBL, emphasizing the transition from theory to practice, with a panel of guests, including Valérie Borrell, a lecturer and researcher in Water Sciences at the University of Montpellier.

This series will take place on the last Monday of every month at 1:00 p.m., providing a supportive space for dialogue where members of the Charm-EU community can share ideas, best practices, and personal experiences.
