Challenge-based learning: from theory to practice

The Charm-EU alliance of European universities is launching a series of monthly webinars entitled CHARM-ON to explore and share its innovative practices with all academic and administrative staff at its member universities.

This new monthly event (in English) is an opportunity to bring together members of the academic community in a roundtable discussion and allow them to shed light on practices related to Charm-EU's educational principles: challenge-based learning, mobility, interculturality, etc. The aim is to encourage participating staff to explore Charm-EU's best practices in greater depth and to take part in the training courses offered throughout the year by the alliance of European universities.

On September 29, this first webinar will focus on challenge-based learning (CBL). It will explore practical experiences of using CBL, with an emphasis on moving from theory to practice, with a panel of guests including Valérie Borrell, a lecturer and researcher in water sciences at the University of Montpellier.

This series will take place on the last Monday of every month at 1 p.m., providing a welcoming space for dialogue to share ideas, practices, and experiences within the Charm-EU community.
