Overview

The11th edition of the Privacy Protection Workshop (APVP) is being organized this year by the teams at the Laboratoire Dynamiques du Droit at the University of Montpellier and the Privacy Working Group of the GDR Sécurité Informatique.

The main goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers from the French-speaking community whose work focuses on privacy and personal data protection, and to provide them with a dedicated forum to present and exchange ideas on this topic. The workshop is interdisciplinary and aims to bring together researchers from fields such as computer science, law, economics, sociology, and statistics.

The workshop will take place from June 24 to 26, 2020, at the Hameau de l’Etoile, in the heart of the Languedoc region, just outside Montpellier (participants may arrive on the evening of June 23).

Since APVP is not a conference in the traditional sense, participation in the workshop is contingent upon the submission of a paper. A report on the workshop’s proceedings will be presented at the GDR Sécurité national conference in July 2020.
