As part of the "Sud de Sciences" science film festival: a day of discussions on the topic of misinformation, open to everyone, featuring experts in science communication.

9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: (Interactive) lecture: “What Is Scientific Evidence?”

By Frédéric FEU (CIST), as part of the regional project “Science or Fake News?” (Also open to high school students).


1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: ARTE CAMPUS discussion/master class on the documentary “La fabrique de l’ignorance” (2021, Franck Cuveillier, Pascal Vasselin) with professionals grappling with the growing problem of misinformation, including: 

  • Franck CUVEILLIER, co-director of the film;
  • Sophie DELLA MUSSIA, Head of the Press Office and Coordinator for Culture and Science Outreach, CIRAD Communications Division;
  • Pierrick LABBÉ, University Professor, Montpellier Institute of Evolutionary Sciences (ISEM).
