Photo contest: work in pictures

  • Category: Contest reserved for UM staff
  • Dates: June 11 to July 16, 2025
  • Location: Online

It's up to you to capture what contributes to your well-being at work.

As part of Quality of Life at Work Week, UM is launching a photo contest. Its theme: "Work in pictures."

Objective: to reflect, share a vision, and capture in photos what represents quality of life at work.

Before you get started, here are a few things to consider about quality of life at work.

Quality of life at work (QLW) refers to all the conditions that enable people to feel good in their professional environment. It encompasses the meaning given to tasks, the quality of relationships between colleagues, the content of tasks, equality and inclusion, recognition of skills... and that little something that makes us really want to do our job.

Here are a few examples that may inspire you:

  1. Diversity of experiences: showcasing the variety of professions and ways of finding meaning in work.
  2. Moments of collaboration: illustrating the importance of teamwork and relationships between colleagues.
  3. Work-life balance: emphasize the importance of a good balance between work and private life.
  4. Recognition and appreciation: capturing moments when employees' efforts are highlighted.
  5. Health and safety: demonstrating attention to safety and physical and mental well-being.
  6. Innovation and creativity: illustrate how a stimulating environment encourages new ideas.
