GECKOImproving Engineers' Employability with Multi-Competencies, Knowledge, and Opportunities – is a capacity-building project co-funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ program.

During the period 2017-2021, the partner institutions of the GECKO project worked to improve engineering education in three partner countries: Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, through the exchange of best practices and improved regional cooperation. The overall objective of the project was to improve the employability of engineering students by implementing training modules using innovative teaching materials and modern teaching technologies that meet the growing needs of the labor market in terms of multi-skilling.

The final conference aims to present the results and impact of the project, in order to share GECKO's experience and facilitate its replication in other universities in Southeast Asia and other regions.

It will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the form of a webinar on Zoom (in English).
It is open to the general public.
