GECKO – Improving Engineers’ Employability Through Multiple Skills, Knowledge, and Opportunities – is a capacity-building project co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
During the 2017–2021 period, the partner institutions of the GECKO project worked to improve engineering education in three partner countries— Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines—through the exchange of best practices and enhanced regional cooperation. The overall objective of the project was to improve the employability of engineering students by implementing training modules using innovative teaching materials and modern educational technologies that meet the growing needs of the labor market for multi-skilled professionals.
The final conference aims to present the project’s results and impact, with the goal of sharing the GECKO experience and facilitating its replication at other universities in Southeast Asia and other regions.
It will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. as a webinar on Zoom (in English).
It is open to the general public.
