The International Association of Consumer Law and the Innovation, Communication, and Market Laboratory have joined forces for this European consumer law conference. Welcoming researchers and practitioners from around the world, representing 18 nationalities, it is an opportunity to compare and discuss the different approaches taken by states in market regulation and consumer protection, as well as to highlight the importance of Professor Jean Calais-Auloy's work in consumer law and his influence beyond France. The papers presented will be organized around three themes: consumer information, new modes of consumption and unfair commercial practices, presentations on topics of the authors' choice, and tributes to the work of Prof. Jean Calais-Auloy.
