The International Association for Consumer Law and the Innovation, Communication, and Market Laboratory have joined forces to organize this European conference on consumer law. Bringing together researchers and practitioners from around the world, representing 18 nationalities, the conference provides an opportunity to compare and discuss the various approaches taken by different countries in market regulation and consumer protection, as well as to highlight the significance of Professor Jean Calais-Auloy’s work in consumer law and his influence beyond France. The papers will be organized around three themes: consumer information, new consumption patterns, and unfair commercial practices, along with presentations on open topics and a tribute to the work of Professor Jean Calais-Auloy.
