Ecological Crisis: How can we take action as students?

Want to learn more about environmental issues and find out how you can make a difference as a student? The@Pour un Réveil Écologique collective will be in Montpellier on April 4 at the MDE in Richter to discuss this with you. 

Who is "Pour un Réveil Écologique" (For an Ecological Awakening)? 

This conference will be hosted by the Pour un Réveil Écologique (For an Ecological Awakening) collective. It was created in 2018 following the publication of the manifesto of the same name, signed by more than 30,000 higher education students. Today, they have launched their Tour de France to revive this collective student movement by offering presentations in all types of higher education institutions. 

What are we talking about? 

On April 4, there will be a conference to highlight the challenges we face, an analysis of additional resources to educate students about these challenges, and a discussion forum to enable collective action at the university and on campuses. 

• remind us of the crucial challenges we face (climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion);
• decipher the various arguments for inaction to understand why, collectively, we are still not doing enough;
• offer additional resources to continue learning about these issues;
• give students the tools they need to get involved in their daily lives, but also and above all in their school, in their career, and to take collective action.

It is therefore an interactive conference on environmental issues that provides all higher education students with the keys to mobilization.
