This summer,UM is putting itself on display!

The University of Montpellier is lending items for several exhibitions:

• Exhibition “Being Here / Now / Everywhere / Kiki Smith,” MOCO, Montpellier: about ten objects from the Faculty of Medicine’s anatomical collections;
• “Skates and Sharks” Exhibition, Planet Ocean, Montpellier: about fifteen taxidermied specimens from the ISEM collections;
• Exhibition “First Times / First Photos,” Pavillon Populaire, Montpellier: 4 photographic plates from the International Atlas of Clouds, 1896, from the BU Sciences’ heritage documentary collection;
• Exhibition “Plastic Newspaper / Lucy McKenzie,” CRAC, Sète: three anatomical wax sculptures from the Faculty of Medicine’s anatomical collections;
• Exhibition “Life is a dance! / Jeanne Susplugas,” Roueïre – Arts and Heritage Center, Quarante (Hérault): an object from the Faculty of Medicine’s anatomical collections and a specimen from the Faculty of Pharmacy’s drug collection;
• Exhibition “My Misnamed Witch,” Daoulas Abbey (Finistère): two volumes of *Iconographie photographique de la Salpêtrière / Service de M. Charcot* (1877–78), from the heritage documentary collections of the Historical University Library of Medicine.

The University of Montpellier is hosting two exhibitions at the Jardin des Plantes

• “O Horizon,” an installation featuring five works by the artist duo Xolo Cuintle;
• “Mites, Sentinels of Life – Insights into Hidden Biodiversity,” a photography exhibition by INRAE, starting July 22
