17% of occupations can be considered mixed, with between 40% and 60% of men or women. The exhibition “Flou.e” spotlights those who, at theUM, defy stereotypes by choosing fields of study and careers where they represent a gender minority. By playing with the concepts of blurriness and sharpness, the photographer invites us to question the preconceived notions that determine the quality of a photograph and the gender stereotypes in professional settings or fields of study.

These 13 profiles of students, faculty members, researchers, Professors , and administrative staff at theUM prompt us to reflect: let’s draw on their experiences to break down stereotypes.

This event is part of the 2022 edition of “Donner des Elles à l’UM .”
