  • Category: Roundtable
  • Dates: March 20, 2025
  • Schedule: From 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Location: Online

Opening remarks by Agnès Fichard-Carroll, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Life and Special Advisor for Gender Equality.

Speakers:

  • Aurélia Blanc, journalist and author of the book *You Will Be a Feminist, My Son*.
  • Noëlla Bugni Dubois, founder of the organization “Nous sommes” and the Instagram account “Nos alliés les hommes.”
  • Guillaume Daudin, journalist and co-writer of the comic book *L’arnaque des nouveaux pères*.

As masculinist discourse gains ground and increasingly appeals to younger generations, this roundtable discussion aims to explore the role of men (and women!) in feminist struggles.
Can men identify as feminists, or must they settle for the status of “allies”? What benefits can they gain from getting involved in this struggle? How can they raise awareness, and what resources can they mobilize to become agents of change?
These are just some of the questions our speakers will attempt to answer.

Open to the general public.
