JNI 2023 (National Engineers' Day) on the theme of “Low Tech,” organized by IESF-OM in partnership with Polytech and the Institut Agro de Montpellier.
The enthusiasm for the “low-tech” approach in recent years reflects the need for a path toward a desirable future linked to a new model of society. Low-tech approaches also represent a new avenue for teaching, research, and action within engineering and scientific communities.
A fun, collaborative workshop to explore the limitations of our society and learn the basics of the “low-tech” approach.
A “fresque” is a fun, collaborative workshop led by someone trained in the method. This person distributes cards based on scientific research and invites participants to engage in periods of play, creativity, or discussion. Participants explore the limitations of today’s society and learn the basics of the “low-tech” approach.
