“Gender and public spaces: what are the drivers for better coexistence?”
This event has passed!
Hosted by Maddalena Pornaro and Virginie Terroitin, architects from the collective l amicale.

Are streets, transportation, public spaces, and playgrounds neutral, gender-neutral spaces that are equally accessible to women and men?
Why can certain uses and behaviors differ depending on gender, and how can we design spaces so that everyone feels comfortable there?
Together with the architectural collective l amicale, we invite you to discuss this topic based on your experiences, thoughts, and ideas, while sharing a meal (everyone brings a small savory or sweet specialty).
This event is part of the 2022/2023 artist residency at the Carcassonne site of the Faculty of Education.
Reserved for UM students and staff.
