The UNESCO ICIREWARD International Center—the first UNESCO center dedicated to freshwater in France—is bringing together students from around the world for a “Water4Future” hackathon to find innovative solutions.
Create – Innovate – Test
The UNESCO ICIREWARD International Center has launched Water4Future (W4F). This program is offered in three categories: juniors, high school students, and college students.
The student edition is an international competition: the Water4Future Student Hackathon. Working in teams of 5 to 7, participants have 48 hours to develop an innovative, technical, and social project addressing a theme related to water issues.
The goal is to create a team project, foster entrepreneurship, and develop new tools, technologies, or innovative services to protect our environment and improve everyone’s daily life.
