“Imperméable” is an investigation—the story of a growing awareness and a determination to break the silence. In it, author and actress Emmanuelle Bertrand explores the influence of her upbringing, popular culture, and society on her twenty-year period of denial following the sexist and sexual assaults she endured.
It’s a fact: people are speaking out; now it’s a matter of knowing how to listen and what to do with that information, so we can move forward together toward a different future.
