A day dedicated to young talent in chemical research
The “Young Researchers of the Future” scientific conference, co-organized by the regional chapter of the French Chemical Society and the Chemistry Division of the University of Montpellier, will take place on July 7, 2026, starting at 9 a.m., in Room Balard 1, Balard Research Building Research CNRS campus).
This event, which is free and open to everyone, is dedicated to permanent staff who have been employed for less than five years following recruitment or a transfer to a new location (researchers, Professors, engineers), as well as postdoctoral researchers in the region (Hérault, Gard, Aude, and Pyrénées-Orientales).
Two guest speakers will also be in attendance:
- Dr. Véronique Michelet (Nice Institute of Chemistry);
- Prof. Benjamin Nottelet (Max Mousseron Institute of Biomolecules).
Lunch, provided for participants, will offer an opportunity for scientific discussion. The day will conclude with the presentation of the award for the best oral presentation, given to a postdoctoral researcher.
