TheCarnot Institute Balard Cirimat Chemistry, the Chemistry Cluster, the University of Montpellier, and the CNRS, with the support of the university innovation cluster and in partnership withAd'occ, the DERBI Competitiveness Cluster and SATT AXLR, are organizing a morning conference dedicated to the recycling of metals and composites.

Researchers, industrialists, and innovation stakeholders will come together to discuss the scientific, technological, and economic challenges associated with the recovery and recycling of strategic materials. 

Participants will discover scientific and technological advances that are transforming ecological challenges into industrial opportunities.

The opportunity to explore innovative technologies and identify concrete levers for integrating these solutions into sustainable development strategies.

    • Damien Bourgeois (ICSM): battery and precious metal recycling 
    • Patrick Lacroix Desmazes (ICGM): recycling critical or precious metals through supercritical CO2 extraction

    • Vincent Lapinte (ICGM): Polyester recycling
    • Camille Bakkali-Hassani (ICGM): recycling polyurethane silicones phenolic resins
