Young Researchers of Tomorrow Day

The scientific day"Young Researchers of Tomorrow"co-organized by the regional section of the French Chemical Society and the UM Chemistry Cluster will take place onJuly 10, 2024. 

This free event, open to all, is dedicated to permanent staff who have been in their position for less than five years following recruitment or geographical mobility (researchers, Professors, engineers) and to postdoctoral researchers from the regional area (Hérault, Gard, Aude, Pyrénées-Orientales).

Two guest speakers will also be present: 

  • Prof. Ulrich B. Weisner(Materials Science and Engineering, Cornell University)“Ultrasmall fluorescent silica nanoparticles for bio-imaging and therapy applications in oncology”
  • Dr. Nicolas Clavier(Institut de Chimie Séparative de Marcoule, UMR 5257, Univ Montpellier).
    “Making the nuclear fuels of the future: new paths for actinide oxide synthesis”.

Lunch (provided) will be an opportunity for scientific discussions between participants, and the day will conclude with theaward ceremony for the best oral presentation, presented to a postdoctoral researcher.
