The next Vine and Wine Science Day will take place on April 8, 2026, at the Institut Agro Montpellier, focusing on the theme: "Insights into opportunities for diversification in the wine industry. Research for more resilient systems."

This event, organized by the Institut Agro Montpellier,INRAE, the University of Montpellier, and the Chair of Vine and Wine Companies, is part of the Montpellier Vine & Wine Sciences scientific community's dynamic approach.

It is intended for professionals in the wine industry who are interested in research advances and the innovations they can lead to in response to the challenges facing the wine industry.

Researchers will present the main findings from recent research on wine diversification, including diversification of wine types, vine products (grape juice, table grapes), and vine-related production at the plot,farm, and regional levels.

These Vine and Wine Science Days are part of the objectives of the Montpellier University Innovation Cluster, which aims to encourage partnership-based research and develop technology transfer.
