Biodiversity in Equations
Understanding and preserving biodiversity is one of the major scientific and societal challenges of the 21st century.
On April 9 and 10, 2026, the conference “Biodiversity in Equations” will bring together researchers in Montpellier to take stock of biodiversity theory, its foundations, recent advances, and future prospects.

Organized by theTheoMoDive research group, this conference is part of the“Tour de France 2026”organized by the French Society of Ecology and Evolution (SFE²), which hosts a monthly scientific meeting in a different city. The April event will take place in Montpellier, with biodiversity theory as its central theme.
