Launch of the 2025 Innovation Award

The University of Montpellier is now accepting applications for the 6th annual Innovation Awards!

Each year, the“Innovation Awards”presented by the University of Montpellier—the lead institution of the University Innovation Cluster—recognize the most innovative initiatives led by staff at the University of Montpellier and partner institutions of the I-SITE Program of Excellence (PEI).

The winning projects from the 5 research areas will be evaluated based on three criteria:

• Impact: a measure of the project’s direct or indirect effects and outcomes, particularly as reflected in the results achieved;
• innovative nature: originality of the ideas, concepts, or methods developed in a specific field;
• The novel aspect: a fresh contribution to current trends in public research.

The six winners of the “Innovation Awards” will each receive a prize of €3,000, which may be shared among several team members.

The 2025 Innovation Awards ceremony will take place on July 8 at the Jardin des Plantes in Montpellier, during an innovation networking event.
