Launch of the 2025 Innovation Award

The University of Montpellier is now accepting applications for the 6th edition of its Innovation Awards!

Each year, the"Innovation Awards"of the University of Montpellier, leader of the University Innovation Cluster, recognize the most innovative initiatives carried out by UM staff and partner institutions of the I-SITE Program of Excellence (PEI).

The winning projects from the 5 research areas will be evaluated according to three criteria:

• impact: measurement of the direct or indirect effects and repercussions of the project, particularly through the results obtained;
• innovative character: originality of ideas, concepts, or methods developed in a specific field;
• the novel aspect: new contribution to current public research.

The six winners of the "Innovation Awards" will receive a personal prize of €3,000, which may be shared among several members of a team.

The 2025 Innovation Awards ceremony will take place on July 8 at the Jardin des Plantes in Montpellier, during an Innovation Afterwork event.
