For the 2025–2026 academic year, the Open Science webinars are evolving to include a series of informative and interactive webinars presented by Montpellier EcoDoR’s data workshop!
These regular meetings will bring togetherexperts from the scientific research communityas well asEcoDoR partner members, with the aim of exploring a variety of topics related to the management, sharing, and utilization ofresearch data.
Details: Accessible for free and without registration via a single link; there will be an opportunity for live discussion at the end of the presentation.
Recordings will be available on theworkshop’s Canal-U channel.
The first webinar will feature Françoise Genova, Emeritus Research Director at the Strasbourg Astronomical Data Center.
She will discuss how the astronomy community has organized itself around data sharing, the tools it has developed and maintained, as well as the international standards it has helped define— —which are now adopted across the entire field.
