The University Innovation Hub at Vivatech 2026

The University Innovation Hub (PUI) in Montpellier will be present at VivaTech 2026, the premier event for innovation and technology, which will take place in Paris from June 17 to 20.

On this occasion, the PUI will highlight its commitment to innovation and technology transfer by showcasing projects stemming from public research and fostering interactions with industry stakeholders.

Several startups supported by the PUI will also be present at the booth, offering visitors the opportunity to discover innovative solutions stemming from research and to speak directly with the project leaders.

The teams will be gathered at the Occitanie Pavilion, where they will welcome visitors to present innovation support programs, collaborations with businesses, and opportunities to commercialize research projects.

• June 17: E-Thylène, a solution for converting CO₂ into hydrocarbons (ethylene), enabling the recovery and monetization of CO₂ emissions to help decarbonize industries.
• June 17: Polysity, 3D printing of solid silicone parts—a fast and cost-effective alternative to traditional molding for prototyping and small production runs.
• June 18: MB Therapeutics, automated and scalable production of personalized medications directly in pharmacies.
• June 18: BEACOM, a microencapsulation technology for biological active ingredients designed to enhance the effectiveness of natural alternatives to pesticides.
• June 19: Look Up Geoscience, subsurface exploration software designed for low-carbon energy sources (geothermal energy, natural hydrogen), offering an alternative to tools that have traditionally been geared toward fossil fuels.
• June 19 & 20: Whisper EF, a next-generation electric hydrofoil boat that consumes 80% less energy than a conventional boat and has a range of 100 miles.
