The University Innovation Hub at the Santexpo 2026 trade show

In 2026, the MontpellierUniversity Innovation Cluster(PUI) returns to Santexpoat the Occitanie RegionPavilion and its agency Ad’Occ, alongside MedVallée, a center of excellence in global health.  The three-day program includes presentations of six health innovations from the cluster and participation in two key roundtables at the Digital Innovation Agora.

  • May 19 (afternoon): FlowGraft, a comprehensive, all-in-one coordination platform for organ transplant logistics that enhances communication among medical professionals and enables real-time sharing of essential data on organ quality.

  • May 20 (morning): The Tattoo Pen, an innovative, sterile, single-use medical device designed for precise and reproducible skin marking in radiation therapy. Developed bythe Montpellier Cancer Institute, it provides a reliable semi-permanent marker, reduces biological risks, eliminates the need for decontamination, and significantly improves patient comfort while simplifying the clinical procedure.

  • May 20 (afternoon): AI-Stroke, medical software that improves the early detection of strokes in the prehospital setting. It guides first responders through standardized protocols to help them recognize the signs of a stroke within the first few minutes. AI-Stroke has demonstrated, among more than 2,000 prehospital professionals (firefighters and paramedics), a significant improvement in stroke detection sensitivity.

  • May 21 (morning): Cartigen: a research and innovation platform of the Montpellier University Hospital and the University of Montpellier, specializing in motion analysis and tissue engineering—particularly 3D printing—to better understand musculoskeletal disorders and develop approaches in regenerative medicine.

  • May 21 (afternoon) Plasmodetect: Identifying Plasmodium species in blood smears using an artificial intelligence algorithm that can run in real time on smartphones and can be deployed in resource-limited areas where there is a shortage of microscopy experts.
