The UM’s Open Science and Research Support Team is continuing its series of webinars on open science!

These webinars cover a variety of topics related to open science, scientific publications, research data, and digital identifiers.

They are held every other Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., and include a presentation (lasting 20 to 40 minutes) followed by a discussion.

Upcoming webinar on May 13, 2025: Broadcasting Licenses

Publishing licenses are now widely used by the scientific community. But do you really understand all the ins and outs? From open-access licenses to commercial licenses, legal considerations, and legal notices, the range of publishing options available has expanded significantly in recent years.

This webinar aims to explain the differences between various types of licenses and to redefine distribution licenses as strategic tools for sharing and effective management, whether for publications, research data, or source code and software.

These webinars will then be posted on the UM’s YouTube channel, in the “Science” playlist.
