"The Influence of AI on the Evolution of Scientific Documentaries and Other Science-Related Visuals"

As part of the Festival Sud science festival.

For its^7th edition, the Sud de Sciences Film and Science Image Festival is organizing a special day dedicated to students and professionals on the theme: “The Influence of AI on the Evolution of Scientific Documentaries and Other Science-Related Visual Media”

The event will be based on feedback and questions from the audience, with contributions from scientists and audiovisual professionals. It will be an opportunity for “lively” discussion and inspiration on the broader topic of AI and its influence on the public perception of science. The afternoon will consist of several thematic roundtable discussions, including screenings of film clips or short-form videos.

An afternoon hosted by journalist Philomène Bon (Arte) and Frédéric Feu (CIST), featuring scientists and engineers from LIRMM and Les Halles de L’IA, as well as filmmakers, video technicians, photographers, and students and teachers from various academic programs.

In partnership with ARTE CAMPUS, the Libraries / Collection Development Department of the University of Montpellier, with support from the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region.
