Artificial Intelligence: Theoretical Principles, Learning Methods, and Applications

  • Category: Conference
  • Dates: April 2, 2025
  • Times: 5:00 p.m.
  • Location: J.J. Moreau Lecture Hall (LMGC Building) on the St-Priest campus in Montpellier (Access: Tram Line 1 – Château d'Ô stop, or Bus Line 6 – St-Priest stop)

AI is currently all over the news, with all sorts of myths and fears being attributed to it. Without delving into an ethical debate, but rather to better illustrate the methods and limitations of data processing algorithms, we will present the principles of machine learning, data classification, and prediction (generative AI). We will also present some applications—particularly in robotics—the performance of several natural language processing systems, and a discussion of short-term trends.
