Cultural activities at universities are part of the core missions of institutions of higher education.

As an integral part of the cultural landscape, it complements the policies implemented by local governments and cultural organizations in the region. Its distinctive features lie in its close ties to research, education, and the dissemination of knowledge. Its audiences are at once the recipients, the creators, and the participants.

How is the practical implementation of these missions organized within institutions? What forms do collaborations take at universities? What are the opportunities—or, conversely, the obstacles—to coordinated action among departments? How is the cultural policy of institutions defined and put into practice, both on campus and in the local communities? How does culture find its way into the university? How does the university position itself as a cultural actor?

Come explore these questions with ADBU and A+U+C on May 20, 2022, at Richter’s MDE, during a study day bringing together cultural stakeholders at the university.

  • Admission to the event is free, subject to availability and registration.
