University cultural action is one of the fundamental missions of higher education establishments.

An integral part of the cultural landscape, it complements the policies pursued by local authorities and cultural players. Its specific features lie in the close relationship it maintains with research, teaching and the dissemination of knowledge. Its audiences are at once the recipients, the producers and the players.

How are these missions actually implemented within the establishments? What forms does collaboration take at universities? What are the opportunities for, or obstacles to, concerted action between departments? How is a university's cultural policy defined and embodied, on campus and at local level? How does culture enter the university? How does the university present itself as a cultural player?

Come and explore these questions with ADBU and A+U+C on May 20, 2022, at the Richter MDE, during a study day bringing together those involved in culture at university.

  • The day is open to all, subject to availability and registration.
