“Mathematics for the environment, agriculture, and food”

The^24th Forum for Young Mathematicians, organized each year by the association Femmes et Mathématiques in partnership with the CNRS Mission for Women, will be held this year from November 20 to 22, 2024, in Montpellier, France, on the theme of Mathematics for the Environment, Agriculture, and Food. agriculture, and food."

The "Forum for Young Mathematicians" has existed in its current form since 2010 (but the first meetings date back to 1996). It is aimed at mathematicians who are currently working on their thesis or who have recently defended their thesis.

The aim of these meetings is to promote women's contributions to mathematics, increase their visibility within the scientific community, and encourage and support their professional integration so that they can take their rightful place within the mathematical community.

This^24th edition will feature plenary lectures during which established female mathematicians will present their work, and parallel sessions specifically devoted to the work of young female and male mathematicians, who will be able to benefit from feedback and advice from more experienced attendees.
