Talking across borders: intercultural communication 

The Charm-EU alliance of European universities presents CHARM-ON, a series of monthly webinars designed to explore and share innovative teaching practices. In January: episode #4 on intercultural communication.

This new webinar episode focuses on intercultural communication based on concrete experiences from teaching, mobility, and professional practice. How can we communicate, collaborate, and build trust across cultures, languages, and institutions? The speakers will share their insights on how to navigate linguistic diversity, cultural expectations, and institutional norms and practices. Together, they will reflect on ways to intentionally develop intercultural skills and how these skills promote inclusion, trust, and more effective cooperation.

Every last Monday of the month at 1 p.m., CHARM-ON offers a welcoming space for dialogue, designed to facilitate the sharing of ideas, practices, and experiences within the Charm-EU university community. Teachers, researchers, students, administrative staff, and others are all welcome to participate. Drawing on their experiences in the field, they offer concrete insights into the implementation of the alliance's educational principles: challenge-based learning, mobility, interculturality, responsible innovation, and more. These exchanges aim to facilitate the adoption of best practices developed within Charm-EU by staff at partner universities and to encourage their participation in training programs offered throughout the year.
