Participation in Brain Awareness Week 2026 – 28th edition

The scientific association La Comédie des Neurones invites the scientific community of Montpellier and its region to the preparatory meeting for Brain Awareness Week 2026. It will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Inserm, Pavilion 42, La Colombière Hospital (a map will be sent to participants with the agenda).

We welcome your ideas and suggestions for this^28th edition! Come and propose an event (conference, workshop, film screening and discussion, school activity, theater performance, etc.) and/or help with the organization.

Last year, 30 events were scheduled and more than 2,500 spectators attended. The Brain Awareness Week coordination team would like to welcome young researchers, engineers, doctoral students (ED CBS2 training credits), post-doctoral students, and students who would like to get involved in organizing this week to raise the national profile of the Montpellier neuroscience community.

Brain Awareness Week is held under the auspices of the Society for Neuroscience, in partnership with the Federation for Brain Research and the Department of Higher Education and Research.

In Montpellier, the association La Comédie des neurones is coordinating this free event open to the general public. It brings together a team ready to share knowledge, interact with the public, and make this event a festive occasion for exchange.
