Pesticides and cancer: understanding and taking action

The question of the causal link between pesticide exposure and the development of cancer remains debated, despite numerous scientific studies and expert reports demonstrating the association. Are these controversies due to the limits of knowledge or to the fact that certain scientific conclusions can be contested when they pave the way for stricter regulatory frameworks?

The multidisciplinary symposium "Pesticides and Cancer: Understanding and Taking Action" will take stock of this major health issue with leading experts. It will address agronomy, toxicology, biomedical sciences, law, and the humanities and social sciences, and will also give a voice to associations and members of parliament who are specialists in the field.
