  • Category: conference
  • Dates: April 2–3, 2026
  • Schedule: Starting at 1:00 p.m.

The question of a causal link between pesticide exposure and the development of cancer remains a subject of debate, despite numerous scientific studies and expert reports demonstrating such an association. Do these controversies stem from the limitations of our current knowledge, or from the fact that certain scientific conclusions may be challenged when they pave the way for stricter regulatory oversight?

The multidisciplinary conference “Pesticides and Cancer: Understanding and Taking Action” will provide an overview of this major public health issue with leading experts. It will cover agronomy, toxicology, biomedical sciences, law, and the humanities and social sciences, and will also feature presentations by advocacy groups and lawmakers specializing in the subject.
