Entity DBMSs, long-term DBMSs: for whom and for what? 

The practice of Data Management Planning (DMP) is constantly evolving. Beyond the project-based DMP—which is limited to a specific timeframe—a more sustainable approach is emerging: the organizational DMP. Unfortunately, this term is very broad and encompasses a wide range of contexts that differ significantly from one another. Addressing the topic of entity DMPs raises many questions: which entities (platforms, units, etc.)? For what purposes? How can we distinguish an entity DMP from a data policy? What synergies exist with project DMPs, and between entity DMPs? What recommendations can be made to those wishing to draft an entity DMP? We will address all of these questions interactively with the audience.
