These regular meetings will bring togetherexperts from the scientific research communityas well asEcoDoR partner members, with the aim of exploring a variety of topics related to the management, sharing, and utilization of research data.
The next webinar will be led by Jean-François Dufayard, a researcher and data specialist in CIRAD’s Biological Systems (BIOS) department, as well as a member of the French Institute of Biostatistics (IFB).
Entity DBMSs, long-term DBMSs: for whom and for what?
The practice of Data Management Planning (DMP) is constantly evolving. Beyond the project-based DMP—which is confined to a time-limited project—a more sustainable approach is emerging: the organizational DMP. Unfortunately, this term is very broad and encompasses a wide range of contexts that differ significantly from one another. Addressing the topic of entity DMPs raises many questions: which entities (platforms, units, etc.)? For what purposes? How can we distinguish an entity DMP from a data policy? What synergies exist with project DMPs, and between entity DMPs? What recommendations can we offer to those wishing to draft an entity DMP? We will address all of these questions interactively with the audience.
Details: Accessible for free and without registration via a single link; there will be an opportunity for live discussion at the end of the presentation.
Recordings will be available on theworkshop’s Canal-U channel.
Feel free to follow the EcoDoR Data Workshop for updates on upcoming webinars!
