Entity Databases: Sustainable Entity Databases—For Whom and For What?
The process of developing a Data Management Plan (DMP) is constantly evolving. Beyond the project-based DMP—which is framed within a time-limited project—a more sustainable approach is emerging: the entity-based DMP. Unfortunately, this term is very broad and encompasses a variety of contexts that differ greatly from one another. Addressing the topic of organizational DMPs raises many questions: Which organizations (platforms, units, etc.)? For what purposes? How can we distinguish an organizational DMP from a data policy? What synergies exist with project DMPs, and among organizational DMPs? What recommendations can we offer to those wishing to draft an organizational DMP? We will address all of these questions interactively with the audience.
Details: Access is free and requires no registration via a one-time link; there will be an opportunity for live discussion at the end of the presentation.
Replays will be available on theworkshop's Canal-U channel.
Feel free to follow the EcoDoR Data Workshop for updates on upcoming webinars!
