This event has already taken place!
A lecture and reading that blends science and literature to provide a better understanding of plastic.
Nathalie Gontard, Researcher at INRAE (UMR IATE).
Hélène de Bissy, Actress at La Baignoire.
A few decades after their invention, plastics have permeated even the most intimate corners of our lives and our history. Multinational corporations employ millions of people to continue making this material more widely available—a material that, nevertheless, leaves an irreversible mark by contaminating our environment and our bodies for centuries to come.

To shed light on our impact regarding micro- and nanoplastics, to understand both the danger and the solution, and to answer your questions during a lecture / reading with Nathalie Gontard—a researcher at INRAE—and Hélène de Bissy, an actress at La Baignoire, a venue for contemporary writing, and the Cie Doré in Montpellier—to write together the next chapters in the story of this alluring yet dangerously addictive and invasive material.
