10th Montpellier-Sherbrooke university scientific meetings
The 10th Rencontres scientifiques universitaires Montpellier-Sherbrooke, which marks 20 years of fruitful exchanges and collaborations between the University of Montpellier, the University of Montpellier Paul-Valéry and the University of Sherbrooke (Quebec), will be held in Montpellier from June 3 to 5, 2026 on the theme: "The challenges and opportunities of using AI in university cooperation".

The Université de Sherbrooke, the Université de Montpellier and the Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry have entered into a long-term strategic partnership. Since 2006, this Franco-Quebec collaboration has been distinguished by the organization of the Rencontres scientifiques universitaires, a biennial event held alternately in Montpellier and Sherbrooke.
The primary aim of these university scientific meetings is to consolidate and extend research and training projects by establishing close links between our academic institutions. This encompasses not only teaching and research, but also the exchange of institutional practices. The aim is to perpetuate and intensify the momentum generated in previous years through scientific workshops on the one hand, and institutional practice exchange workshops on the other.
A call for expressions of interest from the three universities is currently underway to define the program.
