Planning Meeting for Brain Awareness Week 2027
The scientific association La Comédie des Neurones invites the scientific community of Montpellier and the surrounding region to the preparatory meeting for Brain Week 2027.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at IDESP, Pôle Chimie Balard, 300 Av. Emile Jeanbrau, Building 39 (a map will be sent to participants along with the agenda).
We welcome your ideas and suggestions for this 29th edition! Come propose an event (lecture, workshop, film discussion, school program, theater performance, etc.) and/or help organize it. Last year, 29 events were scheduled, and more than 2,300 people attended.
The Brain Week coordination team would like to welcome young researchers, engineers, doctoral students (ED CBS2 training credits), postdoctoral researchers, and students who would like to get involved in organizing this week to raise the national profile of the Montpellier neuroscience community.

Brain Awareness Week is organized under the auspices of the Society for Neuroscience, in partnership with the Federation for Brain Research and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research Research.
In Montpellier, the nonprofit organization La Comédie des neurones is coordinating this free event open to the general public. It has assembled a team eager to share knowledge, interact with the audience, and make this event a festive occasion for exchange.
