Health, Rights, and Procedures: The Health Insurance Program Reaches Out to Students

On Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Hérault Health Insurance Agency will be stopping by the Triolet campus with its roadshow dedicated to youth health. This event is designed to help you better understand your rights, facilitate your access to care, and provide you with the tools to take full control of your health. It is organized in partnership with the Joint Service for Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion and the University Health Center.

At a stage in life when independence is gradually being established, knowing your rights and understanding how to take care of your health is essential. That is the whole purpose of this event organized by the Hérault Health Insurance Agency: to support young people as they take their first steps as independent policyholders, to help them better understand the health care system, and to guide them in developing healthy habits to maintain their well-being.

Throughout the day, teams from the Health Insurance program and their partners will be on hand to answer questions, assist young people with administrative procedures, inform them about accessing their rights and healthcare, and raise awareness about various health prevention issues. One-on-one consultations will also allow staff, when necessary, to refer individuals to the appropriate resources and contacts based on their specific situation.

The Roadshow will also be an opportunity to discover @mes_tips_santé, the French Health Insurance’s Instagram account dedicated to health issues affecting young people.

While primarily aimed at 16- to 25-year-olds (students, high school students, apprentices, young people in training, those participating in civic service, or those in job placement programs), the event is open to anyone interested in learning more and talking with the professionals in attendance.
