Science, Careers, and Business: How Can We Support the Commercialization of Cancer Research?

The GSO Cancer Research Center, the EVOCAN 2 University Research Unit, the Montpellier Cancer SIRIC, and the Montpellier University Research Institute invite master’s students, doctoral candidates ( doctoral researchers), and postdoctoral researchers to participate in a day-long event dedicated to promoting cancer research and career opportunities in biotechnology.
What's on the program
- exploring the support mechanisms for promoting research projects offered by local and regional innovation support organizations (University of Montpellier, Initium Incubator, Satt AxLR, BPI France, Occitanie Region, INSERM Transfert, CNRS Innovation, BIC Montpellier, Medvallée);
- exploring supplementary programs in the sciences offered in Montpellier (IAE Montpellier, MOMA);
- stories of inspiring career paths (Phost’in Therapeutics, Mabqi, aKen Medical, CYBERNA, PredictCan, QUANTACELL, THERALAN, VENTUNO);
- discussions with biotech companies in Montpellier (INITS, Mabqi, and MedinCell).
