18/11/2025 Open science and evaluation of researchers
Traditional forms ofevaluation of researchers (impact factor, h-index, etc.) have for years come up against numerous limitations and are increasingly being called into question. The development of Open Science has made it possible to look at thisevaluation in a different way: the openness of research is becoming an issue in itsevaluation, and alternative solutions are emerging that are more open than the traditionalevaluation process.
This webinar will demonstrate the need to reform thevaluation and look at a number of ways in which it can be made more open.
These webinars will then be posted on the UM's Youtube channel, in the Open Science Playlist. You can view them whenever you like.
