11/18/2025 Open science and researcher evaluation

Traditional forms of evaluation of researchers (impact factor, h-index, etc.) have been facing numerous limitations for years and are increasingly being called into question. The development of open science allows us to consider evaluation in a different way: the openness of research is becoming a factor in its evaluation, and alternative solutions are emerging that are more open than the traditional evaluation process.

This webinar will demonstrate the need for reform of the evaluation and will review several avenues for moving toward greater openness.

These webinars will then be posted on UM's YouTube channel, in the Open Science playlist. You can watch them whenever you like.
