"Selma" chronicles Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic struggle to secure the right to vote for all citizens. It was a dangerous and terrifying campaign that culminated in a long march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, and ultimately led President Johnson to sign the Voting Rights Act in 1965.
University libraries will be on hand before and after the screening and will offer a selection of books available for borrowing on site.
