Visual artist and poet Sofia Lautrec, who has been in residence since January 2026 and will remain so until the fall, invites you to discover a new phase in her research and creative project exploring the intersection of art and geology!
Drawing on a collection of stones, rocks, and other minerals inherited from his grandfather, the artist explores the very concept of a collection—its artistic and scientific significance, as well as the sentimental and personal value it can hold.
There will be two guided tour sessions on Wednesday, April 8: more info.
This residency is organized by the Art & Culture Department – Campus Life Division, in partnership with the Geosciences Laboratory.
