Round table: “Gender-based and sexual violence. Better understanding to better support victims”
This event has passed!
Via videoconference, registration required.
For several years, the University has been taking action against gender-based and sexual violence, notably by undertaking various awareness-raising initiatives and improving the reception and support provided to victims.
The aim of this round table is to reflect together on the outlines of an information resource that answers certain questions: What does the law say in general? What can the university do to protect victims and support them? What procedures can be initiated within the university? How can we understand how victims feel? What can colleagues or fellow students do? Or any other questions you feel are important to address.
This support will enable victims, who are often too stressed to fully understand all the information provided, to take it in.
Speakers:
- Prof. Agnès Fichard-Caroll, Vice President for Social Responsibility;
- Prof. Marie-Christine Sordino, Vice President for Ethics and Professional Conduct and professor and researcher in criminal law;
