TEDx IAE Montpellier 2025: Dive into the Heart of Illusion

Are you ready to challenge your assumptions?

In a world where our perceptions are constantly being challenged, where truth and falsehood blur amid visual manipulations, cognitive distortions, and digital realities, TEDxIAEMontpellier 2025 invites you to explore the world of illusion.

How can we tell the real from the fake? To what extent do our beliefs influence our perception of reality?

Nine individuals from diverse backgrounds—entrepreneurs, researchers, explorers, artists, doctors, and more—invite us to look beyond appearances and sharpen our critical thinking… while still leaving room for wonder. Their goal: to encourage us to see things differently, to understand what lies behind our illusions, and to perceive another reality.

On the agenda: a reflection on the illusion of the perfect body, an exploration of medicine reinvented by technology, an immersion in generative art… and many other perspectives to consider as we challenge our assumptions and rethink reality.

An inspiring event in Montpellier

Supported by IAE Montpellier, the University of Montpellier, and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, TEDxIAEMontpellier is organized by a team of volunteers made up of students, alumni, administrative staff, and faculty members from IAE Montpellier.  Since 2021, the event has featured notable presentations on topics such as water and climate issues, a more humanistic approach to psychiatry, the certainties of modern Homo sapiens, and inclusion through sports…

Each edition is designed to be a truly immersive experience and embodies the values of sharing, openness, and commitment.
